“You will have to catch the baby.”

It is the reason why my life doesn’t make sense to the rest of the world. I choose to indulge in those things that will last rather than that which is temporal.

There is a beautiful strength hidden in the simple ordinary of motherhood, especially when we choose to serve our families in love.

If being rejected by the important of the world meant that He could have you and I in Heaven for all of eternity, He seemed to say with every breath, “bring it.”

I felt in that moment that the Lord was saying that I don’t need to worry about buying onions. He had provided a vast amount for me all over this shaded area of wood.

Let’s not exult in the busy, hectic. Let’s rest in the present moment, wherever it has us. For there we behold the Will of God and His perfect Love for us.

It is the time of pruning, pulling and nourishing the soil from whence our fasting, prayer and almsgiving shall bud forth fruit of eternal life.
